To receive a library card a new patron must:
· be six years of age.
· complete a registration form
· provide a picture identification (a Driver’s License is best) with a current address.
· if the address of the picture identification is not current, another form of identification must be presented which verifies the person’s current address, such as a piece of non-personal mail.
· Children under the age of 14 will require the signature of a parent or guardian.
· A new patron will maintain "new patron" status for a period of three months. During that time he/she will be allowed to have a total of only two items checked out on their account, a $2 overdue limit and be allowed to place holds on only two items.
